Polyimide (PI) is a group of high performing polymers known for their exceptional chemical, thermal, and mechanical performance properties. These materials demonstrate exceptional thermal stability in high and low temperatures and are extremely flame resistant. PI , CITCABLE PI / TEFLON composite, is a high lubricity polyimide blend for applications that require lower surface friction yet do not require the performance of pure TEFLON. Polyimide maintains broad chemical resistance and good dielectric properties in addition to its reduced coefficient of friction

 

High Temperature PI Cable is designed with high-performance insulation materials that provide exceptional thermal resistance. This allows the cable to operate in temperatures exceeding 240°C, making it ideal for use in extreme heat environments such as power plants, automotive engines, and aerospace systems. The durable outer layer ensures that the cable maintains its performance even under continuous exposure to high temperatures, preventing failures and enhancing the longevity of your equipment.

polyimide wire can be produced in extremely small dimensions, yet it retains strength and pushability whether for vascular catheters or medical deployments. Polyimide can also be provided as a coating for over-the-PI insulated wire applications. Polyimide coating for electrical leads provides insulation in addition to a low-friction surface for easier positioning or placement. Polyimide can also be provided in a layered composite-type construction to further tailor tubing or coating properties
